With so many plastic brush mascaras on the market I kind of felt guilty about throwing them all away. Then I got this great idea: what if I washed one off, disinfected it, and used it as an eyelash comb for after I have applied my mascara and I have some clumps to even out? I cleaned the brush from the Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara and was amazed how well it worked. It was so much better than those awkward little combs that never really work. Oh, and if you have a clump that dried and won’t comb out, try dampening the brush, it cuts through the hard mascara like butter. I haven’t tried the water trick with waterproof mascaras, so it may not work, but combing the lashes with the brush while the mascara is still wet is great for waterproof as well.Wednesday, May 14, 2008
