Cle de Peau Beaute - Concealer

I was recently introduced to the Cle de Peau Beaute line of cosmetics when I went to a breast cancer awareness event at a department store. It's a french line of products which was acquired by Shiseido who now sells it as one of their luxury cosmetic brands. And when you read luxury, it translates to very expensive, especially in the case of Cle de Peau. I admit, the price tag for the product was a bit of a deal breaker for me, but I have to say it's by far my favorite concealer.

It has an incredibly smooth texture that's not too oily. However, it will crease if your under eye area isn't moisturized or if you tend to have drier skin there. It evens out skin where it's a little red, if you have dark under eye circles, or if you have a blemish. And a little of the product covers quite a bit of area, so the tube will last a while. I guess that offsets the price a little.

This product offers such great coverage that I can just swipe a little on to my problem areas, and then just dust with a powder to set it, and I'm done - I don't even need to use a foundation. If you want to try it out, department stores that carry Cle de Peau have a really nice trial size, but watch out what color you get, you may get stuck with a color that doesn't match your skin at all. It's such an great product, but the price tag is a definite issue.

If you want to learn more about the line or where you can find it, check out Cle de Peau Beaute.
