Benefit Erase Paste

I saw this product when I was milling around a department store, and decided to try it out. As I mentioned in the Touche Eclat post, I have dark circles under my eyes, and I have a had a hard time finding a concealer that offers complete coverage, and the Benefit Erase Paste supposedly did just that.

I bought the medium shade, which comes with a little spatula and a set of directions for application. It’s a rather thick product which you could blend with your finger, but I would suggest using a concealer brush i.e. Stila’s #11 face concealer brush. You can use the product under your eyes, on blemishes or anywhere you face may be discolored.

I didn’t really need the spatulas since I was using a brush, but a little of the product goes a long way. I was really happy with the coverage, and it helped to lighten my under-eye area. I also used it to cover up blemishes and thought it worked great. The only negative I can see would be if you have dry skin under your eyes or wherever you apply it, because the product would cake and crease.

Here’s a big tip for the Erase Paste, when applying, don’t rub it in, pat it. Patting sets the product better than trying to smudge it. So after you sweep it over the area that’s going to be covered, pat it until everything is evenly distributed.
