The one thing in my make-up bag that I cannot leave the house without wearing is mascara. It just gives you a little extra something, so you don’t look like a complete troll when you go out barefaced.
Now, I know that most magazines and beauty editors suggest that you needn’t spend big money on something which needs to be replaced as frequently as mascara, but let me assure you that this product is worth its designer price tag. The product is Dior DiorShow Mascara, available for $23 US in a variety of different colors.
The many reasons it is worthy of my praise are that it lengthens and separates without clumping, the formula is heavily pigmented so you get complete coverage without multiple coats, it does not flake or smudge during a day’s wearing and it doesn’t have that heavy chemical smell of most mascaras.
If you're not into spending that kind of cash and would rather pick something up at your local drug store, try out Maybelline Unstoppable Mascara. This is a great alternative to the DiorShow, because it lengthens your lashes without clumping and it doesn't smudge throughout the day. For best results, apply one coat, wait a bit then apply another one. By applying the second coat you will build extra length on top of the first coat exaggerating the length of your lashes even more.
