A few years ago cream shadows became all the rage and in all of the magazines you would see these models with gorgeous dewy, shimmery eyes. I tried a few different kinds of shadows from MAC, NARS, L’Oreal and Clinique but the shadow inevitably would crease, no matter what kind of base I would put on my lid first, or they wouldn’t go on evenly when I applied it. I had written off cream shadows as a product only to be used by professionals until Stila launched their Shadow Pots.
I bought one, actually let’s be honest I bought three: one in bronze, one in lily and one in copper. And they really are crease free and blend quite nicely. But what I liked most about the shadow was that it didn’t feel heavy or greasy once it was on my eyelid. You can blend them onto the eyelid with your finger for a light wash of color or you can layer them for a more dramatic look.
