I got this product in a gift bag, and I was pretty excited to try it out especially since it was a full size product instead of those brutal sample sizes that never have enough of the product to really see if you like it or not. Shiseido claims that this eye cream,"recharges the eye area with youthful-looking vibrance. Reduces the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles, and dullness, as it effectively hydrates and energizes skin." The most interesting part of the product to me was the possibility of reducing dark circles under my eyes.
I gave the cream a few weeks (apparently it takes four weeks to see any signs of change), and the first thing I noticed was the the product is a little heavy. I found it a bit greasy in the daytime when I applied concealer over top it. After the concealer set, it would begin to crease. To be fair, I probably would really like the cream in the winter when my skin is a bit more dry, and a little of the cream goes a very long way! I did see a little lightening of the dark circles, and my under eye area felt very moisturized. The cream has some luminescent properties that do brighten the area, which I also liked. The packaging it a little awkward, and I imagine it will be difficult to get the cream out that's at the bottom of the tube, which kind of sucks since it's an expensive product ($54 for .53oz). I would recommend this cream to people with very dry under eye skin, who would notice a dramatic difference and probably really love this product.
I liked the Super Eye Contour Cream, but not enough to buy another tube. Maybe I'll wait to use it again in the winter and see if I like it more then.
