Stila Rock the Vote Red

Stila has made an interesting decision and has partnered up with Rock the Vote, a non-partisan, non-profit organization that tries to get more young people to vote in the presidential elections. Stila has released Rock the Vote Red, a red lipstick that they hope will inspire women to go out and vote. You can also register to vote online at www.stilacosmetics.com, and a portion of the profits the lipstick generates will go to Rock the Vote.

I think the lipstick is a fantastic red color, but I tend to be a huge red lipstick fan. And who doesn't feel more empowered wearing a red lip? I also think it's a pretty cool idea that Stila is trying to get more people interested in voting by doing this partnership. It will definitely bring more awareness to the 20-somethings that adore Stila, but I don't know how inspirational a lipstick can be, and whether it will actually get people to vote. But I appreciate the effort in trying to get more people involved, and the red is just so patriotic!
