Back 2 MAC

Can I just tell you how much I love the Back 2 MAC program? If you've never heard of it, you're totally missing out. In an effort to do their share to help the environment, MAC has instituted a recycling program for their packaging. By returning any MAC primary packaging containers to a MAC store, counter or mail them to MAC online, you get a free lipstick (this doesn't include any of the Viva Glam lines because all of the profits from the sales of those products go to organizations dedicated to helping people living with HIV or Aids).

How cool is that: you get rid of your empties, help the environment and you get a lipstick! But it gets even better. When I went to return some containers yesterday, I learned that as of a little while ago they expanded the program: if you return the containers to a MAC store, you don't have to just pick a lipstick, you can get an eye shadow, a Lipglass, or a Lustreglass, etc (ask one of the makeup artists about the options, I may have forgotten a few). I love that they have increased the options from which you are able to choose when you turn in your containers; it's so much more exciting now with all of the different possibilities!
