L'Oreal Fashion Week - Toronto

This week is L'Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto where designers parade their Spring/ Summer lines for 2009 in front of eager crowds waiting to see the glamorous models and fantastic clothing. This year's theme is Fabulous, and you'll see it plastered everywhere at the show - even as you line up to enter the shows, you are put on the F List. All of the action is happening downtown at Nathan Phillips Square where a giant indoor runway and reception area (with cocktail bar) has been set up.

Fashion week is produced by the Fashion and Design Council of Canada and showcases all of Canada's homegrown talent. The lines that will be featured are from up and comers as well as established brands which include Alfred Sung, Pink Tartan, MANGO, Diesel Kids, Carlie Wong, Joe Fresh, Thien Le and Mellinda-Mae Harlingten, just to name a few, but there are so many others as well. The runway shows pretty much run every hour on the hour, and the whole scene is buzzing with energy and activity. Definitely something to check out if you're into fashion and design. To learn more about the events happening all week long, ticket prices or which designers are showing, check out the L'Oreal Fashion Week website.
