Stila's Step Out And Shine - Color Collection And Clutch

Maybe it's just me, but it seems a little too early to be surrounded by Christmas ornaments, carols and gift sets. I am already receiving emails from Sephora with holiday themed items, even though it's not even the middle of November. It's not that I'm a Grinch or not into Christmas, but the holiday makes an earlier appearance in stores each year, and it hasn't even been Thanksgiving yet. I know that Canada has already celebrated it's day of giving thanks, and usually their Christmas season begins after Halloween, but it's just cruel and unusual punishment to make the department store employees listen to It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year on repeat for two months.

But since I can't seem to get away from it, and some of the gift sets are so cute I thought I would start reviewing some. Today I thought we'd take a look at Stila's Step Out And Shine - Color Collection And Clutch. This collection is a Sephora exclusive, limited-edition set which features:

- Convertible Color in Orchid
- Montmartre Eye Shadow Quad Palette
- All Over Shimmer Luminizer
- Multi-Effect Mascara in Black
- Pomegranate Crush Lip and Cheek Stain (which is a follow up to the Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek stain, but hasn't been released yet)

The colors in this set are perfect if you're into the fresh face berry stained look, which has been gracing the covers of fall fashion mags. I also like that these are the items that you would actually throw in a clutch to take out to party all night during the holiday season.

One trend I noticed was that many of the holiday sets this year include a clutch. It's kind of a nice idea because I usually want a little glitzy bag, especially for New Year's, and with these sets you get a little make up and a handbag - a definite win-win situation here. It would also make an amazing Christmas gift for that glamor girl friend. A great little set that would jazz up anyone's holiday, and if you'd like to check it out click here.
