Christian Louboutin Schoolita Framed Bag

We all know his shoes are to die for, but the handbags from Christian Louboutin haven't been the greatest. The shapes just weren't that interesting, and the colors weren't very exciting. My opinion definitely changed when I saw the Schoolita Framed Bag, a butter smooth calf skin bag with a framed metal top. I been loving the resurgence of the vintage inspired framed bags. They are just so lady-like, and when combined with the modern slouched body - utterly chic.

The Schoolita's gracefully structured shape enables the bag to transition seamlessly from day to night. The contrasting interior red cotton lining adds a nice bit of pop, and it has a cell phone pocket and zip pocket for storage space. The bag has metal feet on the bottom to protect the leather from scuffing, and it has a magnetic top closure. There is a cute little stiletto charm, which is detachable if it isn't your thing, but it does add a little whimsy to the bag. The Schoolita is from the upcoming fall collection, so it's only available for pre-order, but if you'd like to get ahead of the crowds, or to read more about it, visit Saks Fifth Avenue.
