Katy Perry - "I Kissed a Girl"

I am so loving Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl right now! It's the perfect kick off to summer song, and it has a great saucy video. Katy Perry is a California girl who has been lauded as "the next best thing" by Blender Magazine, and as "the one to watch" by Teen People. She has even gained Madonna's attention with her tongue in cheek single Ur So Gay. Her music is fun and her lyrics are great - yes, she actually writes her own songs, how refreshing! - as she sings about things she is going through and just having fun. And her style is fantastic as well, 50's inspired, which is one of my favorite looks! She will be joining the Warped World Tour this summer and her debut album One of the Boys will be released on June 17, 2008.
