Stila’s Kitten eye shadow is one of my all time favorite products. It’s this amazing pinkish-goldy-champagne color that looks fantastic on your eyelid, and it super versatile as it can be used with a huge range of other eye shadows. It has a high shimmer content which sparkles very nicely without looking too reflective. It’s a great product that your make up bag is incomplete without. Stila just launched a few other versions of the beauty best buy Kitten, one of which is a silk eye shadow wash. When I compare the color of the eye shadow to the eye wash, there is a bit of difference because the wash is a little darker than the powder. Where the shadow has a fine shimmer finish, the wash is a bit more high gloss metallic finish. You can blend it out, which I recommend as a little of the wash goes a long way, and you have to apply the product rather quickly because it is a water based liquid to powder shadow that dries quickly. I wasn’t sure about the wash, but I kind of love it now because you can use it as a highlighter, or as an all over lid color that won’t crease. It’s a fun alternative to the shadow, and the color is still absolutely lovely even though it isn’t identical to the powder.
