Pacific Perfumes - Cream Perfumes

I haven't ever really been into solid or cream perfumes because I found that they wouldn't last as long as their liquid counterparts. I have tried a few from L'Occitane and one from Stila, and they just didn't last long. The big appeal of a solid fragrance is that you can put it in your purse and keep applying it throughout the day without having to worry about a bottle breaking. I have had this happen, and believe me it sucks! I used to keep one of those perfume samples of my favorite scents in my lipstick pouch, but then one broke and the perfume leeched into some of my lipsticks. There is nothing worse than wearing a lipstick that tastes like an intense perfume.

So I can totally see the appeal of a solid perfume, but I just haven't found one that I loved until I came across the Pacific Perfumes cream perfumes. Pacific Perfumes is a company based out of New Zealand that "supports sustainable products and reusable resources, and all our options are eco-friendly." All of the fragrances they have chosen for their soaps and perfumes are inspired by the islands of the Pacific, namely New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, and French Polynesia.

The cream perfumes come in these cute wooden balls and come in a amazing array of scents that instantly transport you to the islands. I chose Pacific Goddess, which is a spicy warm scent with a hint of a tropical under tone - very sexy. The consistency of the cream makes it much easier to apply. Other solid fragrances are a little too hard and you have to repeatedly run your finger in it to actually pick any up, but not with these creams; they are very soft and easily applied. But the big selling point is that these creams are heavily scented, so a little goes a long way and last much longer. I am totally in love with these cream perfumes- they are so convenient and smell so lovely.
