Kate Spade Hula Ida Bag

I couldn't resist blogging about this bag, it's just so adorable and happy. This is the Kate Spade Hula Ida bag, which is part of the Hawaiian inspired summer line. Running with the Hawaiian theme, Kate Spade is also holding a contest for a lucky person to win a trip to Hawaii.

Spade has taken inspiration from the Hawaiian grass hula skirt, and turned it into a very chic little handbag. The Hula's surface is a heavy cotton canvas that is covered in tiers of little strips of raffia that creates a super cute fringe effect. It has a italial vachetta cowhide trim and the interior is fully lined in the signature noel jacquard pattern (the fuchsia bag has an orange lining, the orange has a magenta lining and the natural has a chocolate lining). There are interior double slide pockets and a zip pocket for storage.
