Revlon Fantasy Lengths False Lashes

I have never found a really good pair of false eyelashes at a drugstore, they are usually very stiff or very costumey - think more Halloween appropriate, and you usually have to buy the glue separately, which is such a pain. The drugstore lashes are definitely not what you want for the elegant old Hollywood looks, which I totally adore and are just so glamorous. The false lashes I usually buy come from MAC because of their huge variety and because the lash sets are well made. Good construction translates to multiple wearings, which makes the price more bearable ($14 for the lashes and $9.50 for the glue). But Revlon has released the Fantasy Lengths false eyelash collection, a collection of different sets of lashes that includes individual lashes, self adhesive lashes and long wear glue-on lashes.

I don't usually wear the self adhesive lashes because I have never had pair that stayed on through an entire day. I like the added security the glue-on lashes provide, so this review only covers the glue version. The Fantasy Lengths Glue-on Lashes come in a variety of different lengths and styles. What I love most about these lashes are that they look natural. They add great definition and length to your lashes without looking like you're going to a masquerade.

I tried the 91002 Intensifying (pictured above), which is a full set of long spindly lashes, 91129 Chic, a full set of lashes that has thicker groupings of lashes for a more dramatic look and 91128 Lush, four individual groups of long spindly lashes if you only want longer lashes in certain areas of the eye. The lashes themselves are put together nicely, and the lash groupings are well defined. The glue included in the sets lasts all day, so you don't have to worry about peeling at all, but be a little careful when applying the glue. It is very sticky and could get messy if you're not careful. Also, make sure to hold the lash in place for a few seconds when you first apply the lashes to make sure it's set before you apply other makeup.

Overall, I was very impressed with these lashes, and at the price point ($5.99 and that includes the glue), you can't beat them. If you're looking for an affordable way to add a little drama to your everyday look, false lashes are the answer.
